Tamara Pernell is Tiber Creek's Legislative Associate. Her primary responsibilities include client support and communications and her work supports the full range of Tiber Creek's practice areas, focusing mainly on public policy analysis and business support functions.
She works closely with Tiber Creek's management team and provides a broad range of support for the firm's lobbying, public relations and government affairs work.
In addition to her responsibilities for clients, Tamara is the coordinator for the Rural Hospital Capital Access Working Group. She is also responsible for the production of Tiber Creek's government affairs journal, "The Tiber Creek Report," a publication designed to assist clients and partners trying to make sense of events in Washington and elsewhere that have significant impact on their work.
Tamara has extensive experience with community groups and other public-service organizations. Her efforts as an elected community leader were instrumental in expanding the recognition of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day in her home state of Indiana.
Tamara received her undergraduate degree from Ball State University in Criminal Justice/Criminology, and her Master of Public Administration from Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville.
